About Us

A samiti built on compassion for the cow

Attar pyari & kedhari lal deva samiti is dedicated to the care, protection and welfare of cows. Our work is guided by a simple belief — that every cow deserves food, clean water, shelter, medical attention and a life free from neglect.

Alongside daily gaushala seva, we work to spread awareness about responsible cow care and to preserve the traditional values that connect our communities with the cow.

Cow Welfare

Understanding the Importance of Gau Seva

Caring for a cow is a daily responsibility — of nutrition, health, shelter and kindness. These are the ideas that guide our work and that we share with the community.

01

Responsible cow care

Cows depend entirely on the people around them. Regular feeding, clean drinking water, shade, dry resting space and gentle handling form the foundation of responsible care.

02

Proper nutrition

A balanced diet of green and dry fodder with clean water supports a cow's strength and wellbeing. Feeding plastic, waste or spoiled food is harmful and must be avoided.

03

Cow healthcare

Injuries, infections and illness need timely attention from a qualified veterinary professional. Regular observation helps identify problems early.

04

Humane treatment

Animals respond to patience. Calm handling, protection from cruelty, and never abandoning an animal that has grown old or unwell are basic duties of care.

05

Why gaushalas matter

A gaushala offers shelter to cows who are abandoned, injured or without anyone to look after them — a safe place with food, treatment and daily attention.

06

Cultural significance

In Indian tradition, the cow has long been regarded with respect and gratitude. Caring for cows keeps that cultural value alive in a practical, everyday form.

07

How you can contribute

Support fodder and medicine, volunteer your time, report an injured or stray cow, or simply help spread correct information about cow care.

08

Community responsibility

Animal welfare grows when neighbourhoods act together — keeping streets free of plastic waste, arranging water in summer and looking out for animals in distress.
